Director General’s Address to Council of Administration Plenary
ByLast week in Berne at the Universal Postal Union, Director General Dayan addressed the assembled delegates and observers and reviewed the work to be done and the issues to be faced over the next few years. We present here the speech in French, Mr. Dayan’s native tongue. It can be downloaded by clicking on the document. We hope to have the speech, which was a very important statement of the issues facing the postal industry and the UPU, as well as the goals and projects, some of them very ambitious, facing the UPU. Very, very importantly, Mr. Dayan tells us his vision of the development leadership role he hopes the UPU will assume within the United Nations community.
