A SPECIAL REQUEST AND OFFER TO READERS OF THE PRESCOTT REPORT - AN IMPORTANT SURVEY ON PROMOTION IN TRANSACTIONAL DOCUMENTS
InfoTrends, the leading market research firm of the digital imaging industry, is conducting a ground-breaking European research into TransPromo, one of most promising trends in digital production printing for 2009. This study will be followed with a 2-day conference in Brussels in October 2009, for which we have teamed up with 4IT Group, a leading company organising events and facilitating networking in the digital printing market.
In advance of the event, they are surveying both direct marketers and billers (the owners of the transaction documents) in regards to their purchase, design, and development of transaction documents and direct marketing campaigns. Countries included in this round of surveying are: France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
In exchange for your participation, readers of The Prescott Report will receive a complimentary Executive Summary of this study, Trans Meets Promo: A European Perspective.
The survey is available in six languages, so please take the survey in whichever language you are most comfortable with. Please be assured that all individual responses will be held in strict confidence and will only be used in aggregate for analysis purposes. This questionnaire should take about 20 minutes to complete.

It also exposes unwary marketers to lawsuits by companies and individuals. Check back regularly for its availability. If you have registered with us, you will be notified by email. Enjoy 250 pages of the some of the most amusing and experienced direct marketing wisdom and skill development you will ever encounter. This could be a textbook. In fact, it probably should be required reading in any marketing school that claims to grant a graduate degree. But, and here's the fun part, it reads like an intelligent conversation with a brilliant dinner companion. Written by one of South Africa's and the world's most amusing and successful direct marketing professionals, a doyen of the Interdirect Network, Keith Wiser. Keith has learned a lot, thought a lot, and he teaches and thinks a lot in this very artfully constructed and written work. It's encyclopedic, historic, painlessly educational, full of case studies, opinionated, and laugh-out-loud funny. How many books on marketing have chapter titles named after popular songs, names which ring true to marketers: People Who Like People, Making Your Mind Up, Wait a Minute Mr. Postman. Keith has generously permitted The Prescott Report to help make his book available to our friends. You can download it for free at www.prescottreport.com/documentlibrary.html.
But don't take my word for it, take Keith's. He used his monthly column at DMI to plug it. Go read his own self-review.
